| we will not allow any ic/ooc crossing. bullying and harassament falls within this category and it will not be tolerated. if you feel you are a target please contact us and ask for a safe place to dicuss what is going on. if we find that you are crossing in any form you will be removed without exception. |
| setting up and applying |
• journals can be ic or ooc. our only ask is that you not have underscores or numbers in your chosen username.we ask that your take on no more than four (4) characters. this is subject to change at any time. please disclose any current characters in the memebers area. |
| intros |
| once approved you will be provided a link to our members area. we ask that you run the button and read the information provided for you there. in place of traditional introductions we are going to run with way to do these. in the spirit of interacting, and easing the strain on our members, we are going to provide an ffa style post for you to drop a comment in. questions will be provided for you but feel free to make this introduction comment your own. we ask that a majority of the comments recieved be responded to within 72 hours. failure to do so will result in your removal. |
| activity requirements |
we are asking for one update per month. we encourage posting more but one is all that is required. your one update can be anything you wish as long as it is substantial. if you choose to do a private entry (ie: narrative, private playlist, moodboard, etc - anything with comments disabled) we ask that you make another post with comments enabled and responded to. this is to ensure that we are creating an interactive environment.
• added before the 25th - intro + updatekeeping your friends list up to date will be a part of your activity requirements as well. checks will be made periodically and any one that has not run the button in two add cycles or more will be removed. |
| extensions and hiatuses |

we get it, life happens, and sometimes you need a small break. if a hiatus is needed for any reason, please reach out and let us know. hiatuses will last up to three weeks. if more time is needed reach out and we will discuss how much more time is needed.
if you need an extensions you will be granted an additional week. you may not request an extension for consecutive months. |

since it is a gpsl we ask that no outside apps be used. while they can be easier to use it takes away from the interactions on the friends page. this may change and, if it does, we will let you know.
since bar harbor is a small town we ask that you check the directory to see what businesses are already in game. if you wish to take ownership or manage an already established business let us know in the directory comments. |
